Thank God, five weeks of the third Corona lockdown are behind us now, the one km from home limit has been lifted. Only work and no play was getting me down, hopefully we are finally done away for good with this damn virus.

Ein Gedi Nature Reserve. David Waterfall to Dodim Cave hike.
Ein Gedi (in English 'Goat kid Spring'), in biblical times the young David hid in this area from the wrath of king Saul. The Nature Reserve is located in the Judean Desert right on the shores of the Dead Sea. Water flows all year round from four springs. the more popular hikes taken are: Nahal David and Nahal Arugot. An ancient Synagogue nearby is from the 3rd century A.D.
