The House of God (1984) - Excerpt, Tim Matheson & Ossie Davis

The House of God written by Samuel Shem is a comedy/drama about the lives of medical residents in the 70s. This scene is Tim Matheson and Ossie Davis after he has been revived due to complications, which was common practice before DNR orders. It's a shame this isn't available on DVD because it includes a phenomenal cast of comedians doing their best dramatic work. I still believe comedians do their best work in social satire and horror films, but that's my opinion.
