NEW GIMP Multi-Layer Locking Features Coming to GIMP 3.0 #Shorts

The GIMP 2.99.10 development release version rolled out some brand new multi-layer locking features! These updates help improve your workflow as well as polish GIMP's UI for a cleaner look.

In GIMP, the free photo editor, you can now shift+click to apply layer locks to ALL layers in your composition, or alt+click to selectively lock multiple selected layers. GIMP is making huge strides!
