In this video I discuss an important topic when talking about foreigners living in China, teaching English. Many foreigners in China work as English teachers, and even thought I myself was a student in Shanghai, I heard many discussion about this topic. I share with you a story, that I described in my book 'I lived in Shanghai' about meeting two very different types of English teachers in Nanjing, one that was the stereotypical English teacher that is the reason why many people in China have this negative stigma attached to foreigners working teaching jobs in China, and the other one, an example of what characteristics you should have if you want to get a job as an English teacher in China.
