5.11 ATAC military boots vs hiking & work boots

Just a review on the 5.11 ATAC tactile series coyote military/combat boot vs hiking boot vs work boot.

The boots were what I would consider to be cheap for only $140, much cheaper than most hiking boots and not much more than some steel caps.

I haven't tried other military boots so the comparison is general not specific to the 5.11 ATAC I guess. I believe the wool merino hiking socks made a difference also.

I wish I could have found a review when I was considering buying them. I would never buy hiking boots for hunting again there is no comparison, and that zip just makes life so easy.

Please don't think I'm saying these are the best Military boot, I'm not, I'm saying they are better than hiking boots and work boots for hunting.
