The age-old question of Amazon Sellers: "What can I include on my product inserts?"

🤔What are product inserts?

Product inserts are the cards that Sellers include in their packaging as a means to communicate with their consumers. Some product inserts incentivize consumers to write a review, others offer a free product or a discount on a future purchase.

🤔What does Amazon allow on product inserts?

Amazon has rules around what Amazon Sellers can and cannot include on their FBA product inserts. As these rules are somewhat vague and not clearly defined in the Terms of Service, Becky Trowbridge with eComEngine recommends that Sellers, "follow all of Amazon's standard review guidelines and all communication guidelines" to remain in good standing with Amazon.

⛔Avoid asking for a positive review

⛔Don't offer a discount in exchange for a review

⛔Don't offer to exchange a free product for a positive review

⛔Never include your URL on your insert (You cannot redirect consumers away from Amazon for any reason!)
