Claudia Kate is a voice of her generation. She is speaking in an uncomplicated language that strikes right to the core of some big issues. Her work is reminiscent of a long tradition of punk protest narrative but with a new voice and a powerful intelligence behind the song weighting that makes it both familiar while being exhilarating in its fresh take.
