Trying to Fix a Ruined TYCO Santa Fe C630 - Seized & Broken Gears

I made a video at one point buying trains off eBay and this locomotive was included in one of the lots I purchased. It was without a doubt the worst one in the lot due to the fact it was missing parts, had a seized drive and wouldn't pick up power.

After opening it up I discovered that one of the gears had cracked. Someone had clearly tried to glue to back together however it didn't work and made the drive lock up.

Luckily tyco power torques share parts so after an extensive search through my storage bins I was able to find a replacement gear and get the loco going again.
