Elisa Lam Died At The Cecil Hotel And It's Still A Mystery

The Cecil Hotel has seen many deaths occur within its infamous walls since it opened in 1924. Many of the deaths in Cecil Hotel have been suicides or suspected suicides. Eight victims fell from the building, two shot themselves in the head, and another two ingested poison.

The most recent suspected suicide at Cecil Hotel was the case of Canadian student Elisa Lam whose body was found inside one of the water supply tanks on the hotel roof. Even though her death has been ruled as an accidental drowning there is still a lot of mystery surrounding the case.

Her death has been the subject of Netflix’s docuseries Crime Scene: The Vanishing at The Cecil Hotel and it still remains a mystery today.
