You know, I thought I could wait to make this, put something in between...but then I got swept up in wanting to know. In particular, WHY do all the rig rundowns with session guys ALWAYS include a piggy back Bassman head? And so... I went and found out, and if I can overcome my desire to build one from scratch to be that "one great amp", well maybe you can too. I think after all this I'd want the first blonde version, the "6G6". Tube rectified, about 35 watts from the 5881 power tubes (one of my favorites) and maybe stir the second channel with a more British flavor...Yeah, I might be able to resist, and if I can't...you'll be hearing about it here. :)
Hope you enjoy this.
