Destiny 2: Datto's Thoughts on the Destiny Community Summit

The Destiny Community Summit was Bungie's first time inviting a lot of people to the studio to actually get down to business and discuss the issues of Destiny 2. Here's how I felt about it. Listen on 1.25x speed since it's so long.

If you need context: Bungie invited many content creators (and some non-creators) from all over the world to Bungie HQ to talk about Destiny 2, the problems it has and Bungie's plans for the future. We gave feedback on nearly everything you could imagine. However, this event was not about us telling Bungie how they should fix their game. It was us telling Bungie what we want from Destiny and establishing goals for the franchise.

I told myself I wouldn't be uploading any Warmind footage for the same reasons I didn't upload any Curse of Osiris footage (or even go to that event). It's because I'm not here to market the game, at least not now. Now is not the time. BUT, if you want me to, I will. If the overwhelming majority of people want me to make a video on it, then I will. At the very least, we will discuss things on a stream after the reveal on the 24th. I'll be streaming after the reveal is over.
