The Oscars is usually Hollywood’s biggest fashion night, but unfortunately this year’s red carpet was anything but a fashion night. I’m not saying there were not looks turned! Regina King was absolutely triumphant in Louis Vuitton, and Lakeith Stanfield’s custom Saint Laurent look touched on the early history of the brand! But celebrities like Margot Robbie in drab Chanel & Reese Witherspoon in hideous Dior dresses were deplorable. But other celebs like Zendaya in Valentino, Laura Dern in Oscar de la Renta, and Amanda Seyfried in Armani Privé shined nicely!
