An emotional birthday girl could not believe she had received a Shiba Inu as a gift after waiting six years for a dog.

When Colette Francisco turned nine-years-old she received the puppy present she had been waiting almost two thirds of her life for.

After mum Michelle picked her up from art camp on her birthday on July 31, Colette was told they were going to celebrate with cake and ice cream.
