Olympic Alpine Skier vs Speed Skier: Jan vs Marc

I invite you to watch the premier of this microdocumentary about my alpine skier challenge which Andorran Downhill champion Marc Oliveras accepted, I hope you enjoy it!

Marc finished just 0,89kph behind me, in the quest for €5000 [link]. This was one of the most rewarding experiences of my career. We compressed 9 seasons of my Speed Ski experience into 5 days of training, giving him me best equipment, skis and know-how. He’s a fast learner and a talented skier, I’m lucky we both didn’t have a very good last run with front wind! My objective of further promoting Speed Ski has been fulfilled, but mainly I’ve gained a good friend and shared some amazing time with him. I still can’t quite believe he gave me his Kitzbühel bib as a present!

This challenge gives continuity to my support for budding talents that are coming to Speed Ski, which started with my friends I met at Club Amistad: Juanki Sanchez (now national team member) and Paris Arroyo. I aim to grow this activity, not only for Speed Ski, but helping and encouraging people of all ages and backgrounds to practice wintersports.
