Goodbye, Rolex Explorer 39mm: The Bittersweet Lesson (Review)

A Discussion around the Rolex Explorer and my experience with the watch after 3+ months. The Lessons about "To Kill Your Darlings" and "Falling in Love with Narrative" can sometimes blind us to how we really feel. In the case of the Explorer (in the 39mm size) I expected it to be a watch that could close my chapter off with Modern Rolex, a "One and Done". Sadly, it never stayed on my wrist long enough.
