Miniature Chair / Standard Chair by Jean Prouvé / Scale 1:8

Manufacturing process of a miniature version of the standard chair designed by Jean Prouvé.
To make this chair I used my SLA printer to make the steel frame of the chair.
The chair backrest and seat are manufactured using beech wood veneers.
I shaped the wooden parts by pressing the parts into 3d printed molds.
The result is quite good.
I hope this video will help you in case you are making a miniature product or prototype. In the video you can see how to bend the wood and how to shape the already curved pieces.
