NYC Marathon- Missed last bus to Staten Island but saved by NYPD Highway Patrol 2

NYPD Highway Patrol 2 escorts us to and pulls over the Marathon Bus to Staten Island!!!

EDIT: The backstory is that all marathon participants must get to the starting line at Staten Island. We missed the last bus at the Manhattan NY Public Library, and took a taxi cab to see if we can reach Staten Island ourselves. The BQE highway exit to the Verrazano Bridge was cornered off with yellow barricades, with a police officer present at that exit. We were completely despondent until the officer from NYPQ Highway Patrol 2 was amazing and graceful enough to assist us to catch the bus.

He is a hero serving the community and we are so grateful for his actions. Thank you NYPD Highway Patrol 2!!!
