Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G - One Year Later

Looking back to 2020, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip and its competitor, the MOTO RAZR, both played with our sense of nostalgia, bringing back the flip phone form factor, with technological upgrades now available. But it was the Z Flip that ultimately won the world over with a slightly more robust folding phone design. Then the Galaxy Z Flip 5G arrived with, you guessed it, 5G and some slight improvements that including a faster processor. So, one year later, how has the Galaxy Z Flip the test of time?

The main concern against the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip and the nearly identical 5G variant that was have had all this time is its durability. The screen isn't completely glass but a complex laminated composite. Glass is hard, and anything that isn't just doesn't have that inherent scratch resistance. Then there was the hinge. Will it continue to snap with satisfaction with the daily rigours of real-world use? Has that crease gotten more annoying? And is it a total lint magnet?
