200,000 Ash Trees

This visualization shows the number of trees infected by the Emerald Ash Borer in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The emerald ash borer is an invasive insect that found its way to Philadelphia a few years ago and is wiping out all of the city's 200,000 ash trees.
