Caitlyn Jenner On Her Transition, Family, & More

Retired Olympic athlete and human rights advocate Caitlyn Jenner joins journalist Buzz Bissinger on stage at the closing session of Spotlight Health. Their conversation was recorded live at the Aspen Ideas Festival on Sunday, June 26, 2016.

The two reunited in Aspen a year after a groundbreaking interview, in which Jenner talked openly with Bissinger about transitioning to a transgender woman. The interview was published in Vanity Fair. “The uncomfortableness of being me never leaves all day long,” Jenner told Bissinger. “I’m not doing this to be interesting. I’m doing this to live.”

Jenner and Bissinger spoke at the third annual Spotlight Health, the three-day opening segment of the Aspen Ideas Festival focused on cutting-edge health issues.
