A Climb To Remember | 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb
Today we remember a tragic event that has affected all of our lives.
There are so many tales of heroism on this day, like John Mills’ father, who tragically passed in World Trade Center south tower.
Never Forgotten

The New York City Memorial Stair Climb sees over 400 firefighters/emt's and law enforcement personnel from around the world ascend the stairs of a skyscraper at ground zero every year in memory of the first responders killed on September 11th, 2001.
Each participant climbs in honor of one of the over 400 emergency responders killed that day. Climbers are also encouraged to honor any fallen first responders and military personnel worldwide. The event is foremost a memorial climb, however, a 9/11 related beneficiary is chosen each year by the organizers.
Climbers are encouraged to fundraise but are not required to. Climbers are also given the opportunity to be timed if they choose to race. The New York City Memorial Stair Climb is a 501c3 sanctioned event of the Association of Memorial Stair Climbs. It was founded by and continues to be organized by FDNY firefighters. All organizers are volunteer-based and are 100% non-compensated.
