In this video, I’ll show the full process of preparing and painting the Misato Katsuragi figure — one of the most iconic characters from the legendary anime Neon Genesis Evangelion.
You’ll see every stage of the work: from preparation and priming to final coating and highlights.

Special attention is given to painting the eyes using the “paint wiping” technique — a method usually done with lacquer or enamel paints, but this time I’ve experimented with acrylics, developing my own approach and style.

The video also includes atmospheric cuts from the original anime, recreating the mood, character, and nostalgic 90s Evangelion aesthetic.
