I caught this king mackerel trolling live local bait in about 55 feet of water from a kayak. I launched right off the beach in front of my rental. It hit a king rig with a chartreuse skirt and tipped with a live cigar minnow. On this trip in the summer of 2016, the king mackerel were on fire!
