The Carnival Vista, a Carnival Cruise Line ship, has moved to Port Canaveral to start year-round Caribbean cruises. It was previously based in Galveston. Symphony of the Seas also started its new homeport in Port Everglades, sailing to the Caribbean. Disney Cruise Line has celebrated the grand opening of its new cruise terminal at Port Everglades, marking its second year-round homeport. The terminal, spanning over 104,000 square feet and themed with Disney and Pixar's "Finding Nemo," has been designed by Walt Disney Imagineering to enhance the embarkation experience.
