A few days ago, the chess world experienced the breaking news of Levon Aronian changing his federation from Armenia to USA. While the USA gained a world class player, it was a big loss to Armenia who lost one of the greatest players to have ever graced the game of chess.

About the guest:
GM Avetik Grigoryan is an Armenian GM with a peak rating of 2622. He had previously won the Armenian youth championships in 2004,06,07. He became the Armenian champion in 2010. He is the coach of the Thailand National Team. Currently he runs the ChessMood training academy online.
