DPD Grab and Gobble Turkey Dinner Giveaway Announcement

The Denver Police Department (DPD) and their generous partners will kick off the holiday season with the DPD Grab and Gobble Turkey Dinner Giveaway event across the Mile High City.

DPD worked with the Denver Police Foundation, AT&T, Wal-Mart, and We Don’t Waste to obtain 600 Thanksgiving meals for families in need. These 600 meals, consisting of a frozen turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, green beans and corn, will be delivered throughout the week of November 16th to help relieve some of the hardship compounded by the pandemic. DPD’s Community Resource Officers identified families and community members in need who will receive the Thanksgiving meals.
