BioMod™ Packaged Moving Bed Bioreactor (MBBR) for Winery Wastewater Treatment | Aquatech

Through crush, tank washing, barrelling and bottling facilities produce wastewater with high nitrogen content and BOD. That wastewater is typically pumped to a storage lagoon requiring maintenance and cleaning.

Aquatech's BioMOD™ Packaged Moving Bed Bioreactor (MBBR) can be deployed on demand to reduce annual nitrogen and BOD buildup. Treated water from the MBBR is returned to the lagoon until nitrates and BOD are at acceptable levels. The BioMOD treated water can be recycled in compliance with the new regulations to irrigate crops and use the other winery purposes
