Spoon performs "Inside Out" for Indie 102.3

It might sound like hyperbole, but it's a defensible enough opinion: Spoon is the most consistently great American band of the past 25 years. Again, there's plenty of evidence to back that up – most notably the now ten full-length albums during that time with the release this month of Lucifer on the Sofa. It's the first in five years from the band, an extended period by their standards, and it finds them sounding like a rock & roll band once again with the return to prominence of guitars and riffs.

We talked to frontman Britt Daniel about that shift and the circumstances surrounding the creation of the new album, and the band delivered this exclusive performance of the song "Inside Out," recorded live at The Bunker Studio in Brooklyn. NY.
