Farmers in Vorcottomol, Sanguem, have suffered major agricultural losses after heavy rains submerged rice fields under mud and water, destroying crops and damaging the seeds that had just begun to sprout. The entire paddy field is waterlogged, and the seeds have grown long. Additionally, vegetables cultivated in the same fields have rusted and died, compounding the farmers’ hardships.
