Make SOLDERING IRON Using 12v charger

Hi, in this video i will show you how to make 12v soldering iron.
This might not be a crazy build, in fact very simple, but this is a great way to learn for yourself or teach your child how to make your own real Soldering Iron easily at home.

I am myself a DIY fan and I do a lot of soldering on my various tiny projects at home. And soldering iron is an essential tool for everyone passionate about electronics: whether it's soldering wires onto printed circuit boards, soldering USB connector to some device and what not.

And, I thought why not to make my 1st video for like-minded enthusiasts where I would to try to cover a DIY process of building a portable little soldering iron using 12V power supply.

Materials used:

10 Ohm Resistor (or better yet using 2 resistors for 12 volts and 1 for 5 volts is recommended), Soldering Tip, using 12v Charger, Fiberglass Sleeving, Aluminum Heat Break Pipe, and Wooden Handle.

Resistors are used as a heating element inside a soldering tip. Fiberglass Tubes are used for Heat Resistant Sleeving.
