Hanthana Nimnaye - Samanalee / Dumal

Hanthaana Nimnaya is an original song created in the flavour of Sri Lankan music from the 80s. We recorded each instrument acoustically in order to give a natural glamour to the score. Geographically Hanthana is located in Sri Lanka’s hill country, with this in mind we attempted to incorporate the gloomy ambience and rhythmic pattern of the Mahaveli river to give the score a truly authentic quality.
