👀 VOGUE 👐 | If Cities Could Dance
We’re putting the spotlight on choreographer, dancer and event producer Shireen Rahimi, a.k.a. Hype Kitty / Shea Mizrahi is a choreographer, dancer and event producer based in Brooklyn, NY and the Bay Area. She’s a part of the vogue scene on coasts, which is a performance that gives dancers an opportunity for dancers to come in and give it their all, each with their own style. Hand performances come together with spins, duck walks and drops.
She also danced at the 2023 GLAM Awards in honor of the Iranian people. Rahimi has used her dance and social media presence as a way to bring awareness to the restrictions facing women in Iran. "The women of Iran just want to let their hair down and dance freely in the streets," Rahimi wrote on Instagram.
