Amazing One Of A Kind Yurt - Full Tour + Pros & Cons of Yurt Living
In this video we're sharing our experience spending a couple of nights in a traditional Mongolian yurt (ger) but one that has a really neat modification: floor to ceiling windows along one wall. We love yurts because they're portable, affordable, and made with natural materials.
We're going to give you a full tour of the yurt we stayed in, as well as the pros and cons we anticipate from using a yurt as a full time alternative housing option (even during winter).
This yurt was handcrafted in Mongolia and imported by our friends at Groovy Yurts. They have an awesome selection of yurts (this is not a sponsored video!) and they also have a couple of yurts set up at their farm in Alexandria, Ontario that will soon be B&Bs where people can come try sleeping in a yurt.
