Armadeira e o besouro-clique - Wandering spider and the click beetle

Filmado no improviso. Não deu pra saber o que aconteceu mas a aranha aparenta perder o interesse no besouro após ataca-lo. Seria resultado de uma mecanismo de defesa do besouro? A aranha foi fotografada antes do acontecimento e pelo tamanho era ainda jovem.

Shot on the fly. I don't know what happened but the spider seems to lose interest in the beetle after attacking it. Was it the result of a defense mechanism used by the beetle? The spider was photographed before the event and was still young giving its small size.
