After defeating Diantha for the first time, a parade will take place at Lumiose City, and various trainers will be honored for their heroism. Soon, AZ will arrive and challenge you to a battle. Torkoal will use Lava Plume that has a 30% chance of burning the target and Stone Edge that can more easily land a critical hit. Golurk will use Phantom Force to disappear that turn and strike the next turn. Sigilyph will use Cosmic Power to raise both its Defense and Special Defense stats. After the battle, a Floette that AZ resurrected thousands of years ago will return to its owner.
