Worst eye care advice! How to damage your eyes?

This must be the worst eyecare advice that i've known. Due to lack of knowledge and desperation, people results to home remedies. The worst thing they can do is to listen to people who talks confidently as if they are knowledgeable about eyecare. Because of their desperation and lack of financial capability, they tried the things they were told. As a result, they got into an irreversible situation that caused permanent damage to their eyes.
Who is to be blamed? Is it the person who listened? or is it the person who gave the advice?
If you are not a health professional, do not give health advices. If you are really concerned about them, refer them to a health professional. Get professional help.
