SUMMER SOLSTICE. Spending the longest day of the year in Tallinn Estonia

Tallinn’s Old Town is a UNESCO World Heritage site. It's vibrant and active area with numerous bars, restaurants and cafés, sharing the mixture of local and touristic life. This simply means, there's a lot to see and experience in the Old Town.

Summer solstice signals and marks the beginning to celebrate summer. And the longest day of the year, while it last. With early dawns, longer days, late sunsets and shorter nights, this period is certainly not to be missed. The sun at its height each day, always visible as it crosses the sky.

Kohtuotsa and Piiskopi viewing platforms are the places to be at to enjoy the magnificent skyline and be amaze of the town's hidden gem.

Saint Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, a richly decorated Orthodox cathedral whose bright colors and distinct architectural style create a sharp contrast with the rest of the Old Town.

Raekoja Plats, or Town Hall Square, has been the heart of the Old Town for almost a millennium.

Vabaduse väljak (also known as Freedom Square in English) is a plaza on the southern end of the Old Town which has witnessed several momentous events.
