Breaking the Black Hand Mafia - New Orleans, LA - June 16th, 1908

A large influx of Italian immigrants moved to New Orleans, Louisiana in the 1870's, so many in fact that the French Quarter became referred to as "Little Palermo". Most of these people came her for opportunity and a new life, but some of them brought the mafia with them.

This is story of how the Black Hand Mafia's grip over Little Palermo was destroyed by one man on one night in 1908.
