Everybody Scramble! (Opening Scene) – Keramas

No matter how vigilant you might be, there’s always a wave or two that catch you out of position, and it’s a mad scramble to get out of the way. This was the case in for opening wave of this video that went unridden as the whole lineup made haste for the shoulder.

A clean head high swell and a fast, incoming tide combined nicely for the first couple of hours producing some quality barrel sections. At around 9am a storm front swept through, leaving an onshore wind in its wake. It was still very surfable, but the barrels were gone and there was plenty of bump to deal with for the rest of the session.
