White bread Health Risks and Health effects
Historically, white bread was not widely available until 19th century. Because wheat was the most expensive grain to grow, and the process was labor-intensive.
White bread is prepared from wheat flour from which the bran and the germ layers are removed and put aside.
During grinding or milling process, white flour loses its healthiest ingredient called bran. Also all the natural oils, and many vitamins are removed and lost.
Health risks of white bread:
It can cause or worse constipation.
White bread doesn’t contain any dietary fiber which acts as prebiotic for intestinal flora and helps healthy digestion and stool bulk formation.
Intaking white bread increases risk of constipation because lack of dietary fiber.
Diabetes mellitus or insulin resistance.
White foo have a very high glycemic index (GI), which means that they release glucose (sugar) quickly and can cause a spike in blood sugar levels.
If blood sugar levels get high enough, you could enter what's called a hyperglycemic state. Essentially, the longer blood sugar levels remain high, the more serious the health complications can be.
Obesity
Eating white bread could cause overeating even don’t know it. There are studies which suggest that eating foods with high glycemic index, such as white bread can lead to increased hunger. Overeating and weight gain.

You can replace white bread in your eating habits with brown bread or whole-grain bread. Both these types of bread are readily available in the market. While whole-grain bread is rich in vitamins, protein, and antioxidants, brown bread has iron, zinc, copper, and magnesium, completing the full nutrients circle.
