Great White Shark Lucy takes a Poop Underwater in Guadalupe Island Mexico

Have you ever wondered what it's like to be a great white shark? No toilet paper needed, no having to stop what you're doing and take time out of your day to relieve yourself, you just keep swimming forward and leave it all behind you. Keeping with our Shark Week Theme, this is the famous Lucy Dump Video shot on location last year during one of our Guadalupe Island, Mexico trips with Nautilus Explorer as part of a bi-annual Dan's Dive Shop Great White Shark trip adventures.

There is nothing more humbling and satisfying than seeing the most elegant creature in the sea in it's natural element with elephant seals and seal pups on the shore line and yellow fin tuna (a great white sharks favourite snack) in abundant quantities, it's now surprise we have sharks to hang out with us on each and every dive.

Sharks are the most misunderstood creature in the ocean and we hope you take the time to learn, love and appreciate how useful and amazing sharks are in our ecosystem. Great White Sharks are an apex predator and while the world is decimating the shark populations, we hope you get to see these beautiful creatures up close and personal to see how beautiful and hypnotic they actually are underwater.

They are not the savages or man-eaters as portrayed on TV via Shark Week or JAWS movies, but rather one of the most complex and interesting animals that live in our seas.
