Vaillant Ecotec Diverter Valves: Leaks and Failure

Vaillant Ecotec Diverter valves fail regularly, and often leak through the piston seals. This is often attributed to the valves themselves, but more commonly this is due to water quality of the heating system, powerflushing, and chemicals in the system. Regular replacements would indicate the fault is not with the Diverter valves!
