NY Times Best Selling Author Teri Woods is best known for curating a literary renaissance in the early 1990's with novels such as "True to the Game" and "Dutch."

Building her own publishing empire Teri talks being overlooked by the "industry" she has a few words for BET, Black Girls Rock and and fellow author Terry McMillan who made calls to stop her from attending literary events.

With early beginnings selling books out of her car, Teri independently amassed millions and to this day manages to keep readers wanting more.

Living out an author's dream and armed with tenacity, Teri's books have managed to make its way onto the big screen. With the recent premiere of “True to the Game II” produced by Manny Halley, Teri shares her thoughts on reality stars landing roles in the film, while providing listeners with an inside scoop on her latest book, "Teri's Game" and upcoming film “Dutch” starring actor Lance Gross.
