According to Loran Nordgren, professor at Kellogg School of Management, we tend to operate in a fuel-based mindset. That means, when we think about selling, innovating, or creating change, the human mind thinks about elevating appeal.
We tend to neglect the barriers, which are the frictions that hold our ideas down.
Loran believes the most effective way to create change is to anticipate and remove frictions instead of dealing with them after they arise.
If we want to create greater change, our mission is to make our idea more aerodynamic, not add more thrust.
