Do you ever feel like you automatically resist when someone tells you to "like and subscribe"?

This is actually called psychological reactance, and it's our brain's natural pushback against being told what to do.

And it's why call-to-action’s can feel so gross.

Here's what I've learned - invite not instruct.

Instead of asking too much of people, just give them something useful and let them know there's more if they want it.

The whole thing works better when people feel like they're choosing. Respect that, and you'll probably get more engagement.
