FINNMARK: A journey in Norway's North to Ifjord, Tana, Bugyønes and Kirkenes // EPS. 13

The Norwegian region Finnmark stretches north of Sweden and Finland all the way to Russia. We discovered remote landscapes, a diverse nature and beautiful coastal roads and visited Ifjord, Tana, Bugyønes and Kirkenes.
When we exited Karasjok we changed our plans: Instead of going to Finland as planned we spontaniously decided to stay a day longer in Norway and explore the North to the border of Russia.
Road Fylkesvei 98 was crowned as Norways most beautiful road in 2016 - and took as straight to the beautiful Ifjordfell : A high plateau where no trees grow anymore.
After Tana and the Tanafjord a couple we met on the road suggested to stop in the town Bugøynes - and try the famous king crabs at one of Norway's best restaurants. We did – and you can find out in this video if the detour to Kirkenes was worth it!
