Wendy's All-You-Can-Eat Superbar Commercial w/ Dave Thomas, 1995

Back in the 80s, and even the early 90s, a lot of fast food restaurants had salad bars, or 'fixins bars', where you could pile as many pickles on your hamburger as you pleased. For one low price, you could even build your own salad... or just sit with someone else and make a salad for free like my grandmother did from the bounty of free vegetables and sides laid out.

Unfortunately, that trend came to an end for a variety of reasons, as America's right to free pickles slowly dies.

Uploaded here because every Dave Thomas commercial deserves a place of honor in history, and I don't think this one has been uploaded yet.
