Inside Look: Makita XSH06Z 18Vx2 LXT 7-¼” Circular Saw VS Gen 1 XSH01

The GEN 2 Makita 7-¼” circular saw is here, almost half a pound heavier than the previous model, and boasting 1200 more RPM. On the surface, a lot of the other specs have remained the same, so we wanted to take an Inside Look at what makes this new model an upgrade from the previous one. We gave both the Gen 1 and Gen 2 saws to Foreman AJ Delancey to test them out on the jobsite, then, looked inside with Kris Cousins at the Ohio Power Tool repair shop.
