Recording AUDIO is so EASY!

Clean, clear audio is the most important part of video production and essential when filming an interview.

You can have all sorts of backgrounds, locations and different set-ups but if the audio quality is poor then it’s all over, red rover!

So what is the secret to good audio?

Its simple - just have the microphone as close to the person speaking as possible.

The easiest method is to use a wireless lavalier mic. I love to use the Rode Wireless Go system.

Some might use a boom mic but for most people on smaller budgets this is harder to set-up and use in small spaces.

Prioritise your audio and listen out for any disturbances whilst filming. Oh and use headphones of course if your camera has a headphone jack.
