Nadine ElAshkar, MBA ’21: What’s at Steak?

The meat industry is a major contributor to our deteriorating health, climate change, and has horrible ethical practices towards the animals and the workers. As a plan-based eater, I encourage meat eaters to enjoy their meat as a delicacy rather than a regular part of their diet. Instead of making meat (in any form or from any animal) a daily part of your diet, savor it. It is your chance to make a change three times a day, with every meal.
